Dr. Macwan, born in Gujarat, India, received her dental education and graduated from the Sri Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Science in 2011. She practiced general dentistry for four years before moving to USA in 2015.

She applied for the advanced standing program at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry to obtain her US dental license and graduated in May 2022.

Dr. Macwan’s philosophy is that there is no greater satisfaction than serving the community and giving them their smiles back by saving one tooth at a time. She believes every patient should be treated like family with utmost care and respect.

Dr. Macwan likes to spend time with her husband and 3-year-old son, exploring museums, parks and restaurants in Chicago. She also loves to spend time outdoors for long walks and hiking and enjoys reading.

She is currently an active member of American Dental Association®, the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois State Dental Society.
